Yes it is that crazy busy time of year again, I call it family picture time. I know, I’m super unique. ;) It is such a rewarding time of year, the lighting is beautiful, the weather is perfect, and the families are plentiful. I only wish I was wealthy enough to hire a housekeeper and a nanny, seeing as how everything else seems to go on the backburner right about now. I have had some amazing sessions thus far, and SO excited for the ones to come. I promise to take better care of this old blog too… ;)
One of my favorite things about being a photographer, is being able to take my own families pictures. I think everyone feels the most comfortable around family, which means you can try new locations, ideas, editing techniques etc. This is my husbands little sister Delsi, and her beautiful family. Enjoy.

Gorgeous family! I'm in love with the dimpled photo... and Delsi is stunning. Did you put the sunshine dust in post-production, or was that a stroke of lighting kismet? :)
So glad the sun came out that weekend! This is such a gorgeous session, Kristi! I'm definitely holding out for sun when I come back to you next spring...hint, hint. ;)
Thanks Mindy & Joie!! @Mindy, if you want those awesome light spots, look for the most mosquito's possible... That's right every one of those is a nasty little bug that creates beautiful photographic magic!! ;)
Joie, I'm glad you trust me enough to come back... ha ha. ;) I agree, sunshine is the BEST!! I was SO disappointed with the weather that morning.
